Wood Interior Walls
Dura-Groove has an amazing high quality finish that is one of the most durable in the industry. Because we factory finish your material before it’s installed we’re able to finish 100% of the face and tongue, which prevents unsightly shrink lines that happen if you finish material after it’s installed. We also seal the back of the tongue and groove paneling to enhance the stability of the wood. We cure our finishes with light and heat to ensure the quality of our products. We also offer a variety of choices for your material and the color options that you can pick from. Our choices include semi transparent and solid colors. Once your tongue and groove paneling is installed, you can immediately enjoy its warmth and beauty. For those of you that decide to install raw tongue and groove paneling instead, nailing it up is the easy and inexpensive part. Every raw board must be sanded and a sanding sealer applied. Then each board is hand stained, followed by a coat of finish, then another sanding, followed by another coat of finish. These six steps are messy, time consuming, and cost more than you may think. In fact, we always warn people that according to national averages finishing tongue and groove paneling on site typically costs twice what you pay for the tongue and groove paneling! It’s a proven fact prefinished Dura-Groove® knotty pine and cedar tongue and groove paneling will save you time and money.
